H.E. is a TCK [Third Culture Kid] (French/German) who grew up in Luxembourg. She got her BA in the USA and her MA in England.

It was a beautiful night, and the stars were burning bright and vivid. Fireworks exploded in the air, reflecting off the still water of the lake. The vibrant colors morphed from blue to red, then orange and yellow and purple. It was almost too much to take in at once. All the while, a fire was blazing, creating orange and yellow patterns that were as enticing to see as the fireworks.

Amanda Kendle was born and raised in Western Australia but left in her 20s to teach English in Japan, Slovakia, and Germany, before returning to Perth to continuing teaching English to foreign students in Australia before her travel-loving son was born.

Danielle Oteri is an art historian, writer, professor and founder of Feast on History. This spring she is leading a creativity retreat where she'll bring entrepreneurs to ancient sites in Southern Italy with a program designed to transform ideas into innovations. She studied abroad in Italy.

Lisa Ellen Niver, M.A. Education, is a passionate writer, educator, social media ninja, speaker and global citizen who has traveled to over one hundred countries and six continents. You might find her underwater, traveling to an exotic location, teaching in the classroom or in print about social media, science education, lifelong learning, books, and travel.

On a drizzling day, when a distant British Queen sanctioned a Phillipant Australian Prime Minister’s “Captain’s Call,” turning a Pommy (Aussie slang for English) Duke (Phillip the Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen’s husband) into Knight, we celebrated Australia Day on Sydney Harbour, afloat on a boat.

Lin Yuhan is an international student from Hangzhou, China. She first came to the U.S as an foreign exchange student when she was 16. She graduated from a high school in Missouri, and is currently a college senior studying political science and global studies. She loves exploring culture, civil justice, playing ping pong, and photography.
