When I finished college, I headed to Europe. Yes, yes, so did everyone else! It was a glorious time before settling into the J.O.B. and real life.

My Spanish teacher Maria chatters on about the history of Antigua, Guatemala, the wonderful city where we are visiting. We are sitting on a bench in the town square. I zone out as she tells me something about an earthquake. I look around at the locals and tourists meandering through the park.

It’s a dream of many (including myself), to visit the Maldives, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean (with 26 atolls!). Most people head to the Maldive Islands because of the natural beauty, the opportunity for water sports, the culture, and, of course, relaxing in luxury.

I like swords. Yes, it's true—I love sharp weapons that could possibly kill me with one slip-up. But I don't tend to think of that too often. And not only do I love swords, but I collect them, too! I have all kinds of weapons, and I will show you a few of them.

You know me – it’s all about the beach. Whether I am swimming, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, kayaking, or listening to the peaceful sounds of the waves, being by water makes me happiest, of anywhere in the world. Some of the best beaches in Europe can be found in the Algarve, in Portugal.

Colorado is a beautiful place. In my opinion, however, it is the most beautiful in autumn. Leaves change their colors, and a cool breeze settles over the mountains and surrounding areas, chilling the body and freshening the soul. I love writing in autumn.

Florida is America’s Sunshine State and a fantastic destination for those seeking sun and relaxation, fun outdoor activities, great shopping or fine dining. But all towns in Florida are not the same. Touch down into Orlando and you enter into a crazy world of amusement parks and entertainment, of circus shows and wacky architecture.
